[Alec Trench]
Alec Trench is a failed writer who commits suicide after too many script rejections. As well as featuring in a couple of early Future Shocks, his image cropped up in lots of Tharg the Mighty stories as part of the background, he got a What If..? in 2006 and was last seen as a holographic projection cameo in the 2019 Sci-Fi Special's Night at the Museum (itself an homage to the work of the late Carlos Ezquerra).
